Why Cross Country is Better Than Track

When we think of cross country and track, we think of them as interchangeable; however, should that be the case? Compared to track, cross country seems the same, but one difference makes cross country better than track. Since cross country is about running long distances, it is about strength and endurance, while track is about running fast for a short distance. This difference makes cross country better because running a longer distance at a continuous pace is better than running a short distance at a fast pace.
