You need food to feed him/her. If you want to be friends, then treat them like royalty and don't make eye contact. They take that as a threat. Hold your hand out and speak soft and calm. They can hear 10 times better than you, so it hurts them when you speak loudly. Give them love and toys (a stick, string, bell, ball, laser pointer, ect). You NEED to take them to the vet when they limp or lose blood, fur, meowing in pain, or eye pupils are uneven.
